Committed began singing together as a group in November of 1997. But it didn't begin there. Robert
traveled with his Mom & Dad when they sang as Fellowship Gospel Singers. Grant always enjoyed gospel music. Grant
& Robert along with their wives began singing as Singing Spirits some 20 years ago.But as their families grew it
just was not the time.
In 1997 we both had a longing to go back on the road and sing for JESUS. If it wasn't for him we would absolutely
be nothing. Since then we have had doors to open we could never open,needs met we could never meet,but we serve one who
is able to keep what is COMMITTED!!! unto him.
In 2008 Robert felt it was time for him to step down. When change comes sometimes you wonder what lies ahead. Robert
devoted many years to the group. We went from being a Trio to Four Part harmony. My wife Carol and Ron Byler joined the
group along with myself and Cheryl Hensley. The goals for us have never changed. To help the broken hearted ,to
see the lost saved and give all Glory and Honor to our LORD and savior JESUS CHRIST!
